Please
join us for the San Francisco world premiere of Skittish!—six
comedies, each with two actors, two chairs, a table, and a door. This
is minimalist theater at its best! Skittish was written by the National
Lampoon's Bruce Moody, is directed by renowned Argentinean director
Alfredo Fidani (recently nominated Best Director for Give Us This
Day: Loving Lotte Lenya), and showcases some of the Bay Area's great
actors—including senior actor Kenna Hunt*, who won the Bay Area
Critics' Circle Award for her performance in Noises Off.
Skittish opens July 4th at Stage Werx at 533 Sutter, and runs through
August 31, 2008.
We hope to see you there! *(appearing with the kind permission of Actors Equity)
Here's
what the critics have to say about Bruce Moody's work:
“Fey, whacky,
irresistable...shenanigans—”
—The New York Times
“Wit, delicacy, and imagination... snaps, crackles, moves
with an originality that is a law unto itself...infectious...how
clever and true the portraits and situations are..."
—The Chicago Tribune
